Tell Apeke I am the famous cocoa merchant
Tell her my fame spread across the clan
Tell Apeke I am the igbakeji Oba
The balogun that brought glory to the village.

Tell her if she wants the post of the iyalode
Or the Amuludun of the whole land
Her lordship will be the decider of festivals
And entries will be called for Apeke’s beauty contest.

Tell those who wants her in their tents
To keep off the charming creature!
Tell them they may pass many nights at the village prison
Or serve as the sumptuous buffet for Ogun laakaye!

Apeke, tell me you’re all for me
And see for yourself the valiancy of balogun.
Tell me you shall be mine till eternity
And feel the enormous blessing in between my thighs.

Apeke, tell me you shall bear me children
For I shall build castles to reach the sky.
Beans and palm oil are in booming rate
In case you dare ascend doubles.

Apeke mi owon, omo to dara bi egbin!
Take me as your baale with pride!
The battles I shall fight for our village
Shall be dedicated to your immerse beauty!
